Hi everyone. We are in the very early stages of planning our large kitchen/diner/family room extension.

We haven’t even contacted the architects or builders but just starting to get our own ideas.

I was looking for any advice before we start? Anything you would do differently? Anything that went really well that you would recommend?

    Thanks!

Make sure you get a good builder and references. We used someone once through word of mouth and he was not good. Ever since I have always seen their work and made sure they were up to our standards

Unless you are good at DIY, leave it to the experts….

Take out all of your contents that you currently have and make sure you have enough storage in your new kitchen. Plus don’t add too many cupboards if you want it to feel spacious!
